A carousel was published as a single image on Facebook or Threads

Symptom#

A post with several photos or videos went out on Facebook or Threads with only the first one. The rest are missing, even though the post shows them in Kredia.

Why it happens#

Today Kredia publishes only the first media item to Facebook and Threads. This happens most often when you create one post for Instagram and Facebook (or Threads) together: Instagram gets the full carousel, but the Facebook and Threads posts get only the cover. It can also happen with posts created in the mobile app, which lets you add several photos for these platforms.

Instagram carousels (up to 10 items) and LinkedIn multi-image posts (up to 20 images) publish in full.

How to fix#

For a post that already went out:

1. Delete or edit the post in the Facebook or Threads app if the single image isn't what you want. Deleting in Kredia doesn't remove it from the platform.
2. Post the full album directly in Facebook or Threads.

For the next posts:

• Publish multi-photo Facebook and Threads posts in the platform's own app for now, or
• Split them into separate single-photo posts in Kredia, or
• Choose the most important photo as the cover (the first item), since that's the one that publishes.

This article will be removed once Kredia publishes full carousels to Facebook and Threads.
