Symptom
A post shows Failed in Scheduling, or the dashboard's Quick Actions show a red Failed Posts card ("Review and reschedule"). Nothing was published on the platform.
Why it happens
The platform refused the post. Kredia already tried again automatically a few times before marking it Failed, so the cause usually needs a fix on your side. The most common causes, in order:
- The connection expired. The client's access was revoked or ran out (for example after a password change). The error mentions a token, access or reconnecting.
- The media link isn't public. A pasted link isn't a direct, public file link. The error says the media URL "is not publicly accessible" or "must serve an image or video".
- The platform doesn't accept that media. For example, a YouTube video that isn't vertical or is longer than 3 minutes, an image sent to TikTok, a video sent to Pinterest, or a Reel without a video.
- The platform hasn't approved Kredia's app yet. Pinterest may answer that the app "needs Standard access".
- The post needed approval. Post now was refused because the approvals were missing.
How to fix
- Open Scheduling (the dashboard's Failed Posts card takes you there), click Filters and set Status to Failed.
- Find the post in the Day view and read the error shown in red on it. You can also open the post's details (eye icon) and check History.
- Fix the cause:
- Expired connection: reconnect the account. See Account shows "Expired, reconnect".
- Media link: edit the post and upload the file with Upload files instead of pasting a link. See How to add photos and videos to a post.
- Wrong media: export the video again (vertical and up to 3 minutes for YouTube Shorts), or pick a platform that accepts it. See What you can publish on each platform.
- Approval: ask an approver to approve the post.
- Click the paper-plane icon (Post Now) to publish it again. See How to publish a post now or retry a failed post.
A failed post was never published, so you can also delete it and create a new one.
