How to publish a post now or retry a failed post
Publish a scheduled post immediately, or send a failed post again after fixing what went wrong.

Post Now sends a post to the platform right away instead of waiting for its scheduled time. The same button retries a post that failed.
Before you start
- You're an Editor, Admin or Owner.
- The post is scheduled or failed. Published posts can't be published again; use Repost in the calendar to publish a copy.
- The post has its approvals, or you're allowed to publish without approval for this client (the Owner always is; Admins are under the default rule).
- For a failed post: fix the cause first. Posting again without a fix usually fails the same way. See A post failed to publish.
Publish the post now
- Open Scheduling and switch to the Day view of the post's date. (Use Filters → Status → Failed to list failed posts.)
- Read the error shown in red on a failed post, and fix it if you haven't yet.
- Click the paper-plane icon (Post Now) on the post.
- Confirm Publish this post immediately?
- Watch the status change to Publishing… and then to Published or Failed. It updates without a page refresh.
You can also publish now from the client's Instagram posts on the Preview page and on the client's profile.
If you can skip approvals
When a post is still waiting for approval and you're allowed to publish without it, open the post's details (eye icon) and click Publish without approval. Choose Publish now or Publish at the scheduled time. Kredia records your name in the post's History.
What can go wrong
- "This post needs approval before it can be published". The post doesn't have its approvals yet, and you can't publish without approval for this client. Ask an approver to approve it in Approvals.
- The post fails again. Kredia already tried again automatically a few times before marking the post Failed, so the problem is usually on the platform's side: an expired connection, a media link that isn't public, or a video the platform doesn't accept. Fix the cause, then try again.
- "Post is already published". The post went out in the meantime. Check it on the platform.
- The Post Now icon is missing. It appears only on scheduled and failed posts, in the Day view.
