Questions and answers

  • Can I connect a personal Instagram account?

No. Instagram lets outside tools connect Business or Creator accounts only.

The account owner can switch to a professional account for free in the Instagram app's settings, then connect it again in Kredia.

  • Why does Kredia need my client's email address?

Kredia sends the client portal sign-in code and the connection links to that address, so use the client's real inbox.

If the address is wrong, the client sees "This email isn't registered" when they try to sign in to the portal.

  • How can my client connect their accounts without giving me their password?

Send them a connection link: open the client's Connect Social Media window and click Send connection link to the customer on the platform's card.

The client signs in on the platform's own page, so neither Kredia nor your team ever sees the password. This works for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

  • Why does LinkedIn keep asking me to reconnect?

LinkedIn access expires after 60 days, and LinkedIn doesn't let apps renew it automatically.

A week before it expires, the LinkedIn card shows Reconnect by and the date. Reconnect from the client's Connect Social Media window and sign in to LinkedIn again.

  • What happens when I disconnect a client's account?

Kredia deletes the access it stored for that account, so it can no longer publish to it. Posts that were already published stay on the platform.

To remove Kredia's access completely, also remove Kredia in the platform's own settings (for example, under apps and websites in Instagram or Facebook).

  • Can I publish posts to Google Business Profile?

No. Kredia's Google Business area covers reviews, Q&A, photos and insights, and the composer doesn't publish to Google Business Profile.

The area works only after Google approves API access, and only for a verified location.
