If you approve posts for a client, the Approvals tab in the iPhone app lets you review and decide on the go. You see the same posts as on the web, and a decision on the phone counts exactly like one on the web.

Before you start

  • You can approve for the client. You're an approver on the client's team, or, for clients that use the default rule, an Admin or Owner. See How approvals work.
  • The Approvals tab is visible. It shows only for Owners, Admins, approvers, or when a post is waiting for you.

Approve or request changes

  1. Tap Approvals. The list opens on Needs me.
  2. Tap a post to open it. Check the media, caption, time, and the Approvers list.
  3. Optional: tap Comments to read or add a note, Versions to see what changed between versions, or History for everything that happened to the post.
  4. Tap Approve v2 (the number is the current version) to approve it.
  5. Or tap Request changes, write what should change under What should change?, and tap Send. The author sees your note.

Shortcut: in the list, swipe a row right to approve it, or left to request changes.

The other tabs show Waiting (posts that still need someone else) and Done (posts you approved or sent back).

What can go wrong

  • "You can't approve your own post." The author's approval never counts. Another approver has to approve it.
  • "The post changed, review v3". Someone edited the post while you were looking. Review the new version, then approve it.
  • "Approved after its time. It is held until someone publishes it." The approval came after the scheduled time, so Kredia didn't publish late. Publish it or reschedule it. See An approved post didn't publish.
  • You weren't notified. Push notifications aren't available yet. Watch the Approvals badge and the banner on Home.
