Every time someone saves a change to a post, Kredia keeps the previous version. In the post details you can compare versions, bring an older one back, see everything that happened to the post, and discuss it with your team.

Before you start

  • Open the post details. In Scheduling, click a post in the week or month view, or the eye icon in the day view. You can also share a direct link to a post: Kredia opens it from Approvals and from links in the form kredia.io/calendar?post=….
  • Everyone on the team can read versions, history and comments. Restoring and commenting need the Editor role or above.

Compare versions

  1. In Post details, open the Versions tab. Each version shows its number (v1, v2…), who saved it and when, and its approvals. The latest is marked current; older ones are superseded.
  2. Click an older version. A Changes box shows what changed from that version to the current one: Caption (added and removed text highlighted), Media, Schedule and platforms, and Hashtags.
  3. Use Compare with to pick a different version to compare against.

Restore an earlier version

  1. Compare the version you want, then click Restore v….
  2. Confirm with Restore.

Restoring doesn't delete anything: it saves the old content as a new version. If the client's approval rules ask for approval after edits, the current approvals are reset and the post needs approval again. You can restore only while the post is scheduled.

Read the history

The History tab is a timeline of everything that happened to the post: created, edited, rescheduled, submitted, approved, changes requested, approvals reset, restored, published without approval, publishing started, published or failed (with the platform's error). The history is read-only and is never deleted.

Leave internal feedback

  1. Open the Comments tab.
  2. Type in Leave feedback… and press Enter or click the send icon.

Comments are for your team only. Clients don't see them, and nothing is posted to the social platform. To ask the author for changes formally, use Request changes… instead; see How to approve a post or request changes.
