You can read and reply to comments on a client's published Instagram posts without leaving Kredia. New comments appear while the post is open, so you don't need to refresh. For Facebook and YouTube you can read comments, but you reply in the platform's own app.
| Platform | Read comments | Reply from Kredia |
|---|---|---|
| Yes (web) | Yes (web) | |
| Yes (web, on Preview) | No | |
| YouTube | Yes (mobile app) | No |
Before you start
- The client's account is connected. See How to connect Instagram.
- The post is already published. Comments show on published posts only, not on scheduled ones.
Reply to an Instagram comment
- Click Preview in the sidebar.
- Pick the client at the top of the page.
- Stay on the Instagram tab and click a published post.
- Click Comments to open the list.
- Click Reply under the comment you want to answer.
- Type your answer in Write a reply… and press Enter.
Your reply is posted publicly under the comment, from the client's account. You can do the same from the client's profile page: open a post in its grid and use Comments there.
Read Facebook comments
- Click Preview in the sidebar and pick the client.
- Click the Facebook tab and open a post.
- Read the comments under it. To answer, use Facebook or Meta Business Suite.
Read YouTube comments
In the Kredia iPhone app, open the client from Home, tap the YouTube pill and open a video. Comments are read-only there.
What can go wrong
- "Could not load comments. The account may need to be reconnected with comment permissions." The Instagram connection was made before Kredia asked for comment permissions. Reconnect Instagram and accept every permission. See Account shows "Expired, reconnect".
- No Comments section. The post is scheduled, not published yet.
- The comment and reply controls are in English even when Kredia is set to Hebrew.
