# Why Kredia can't change the Instagram bio, add music or Highlights

## Symptom

You're looking for a way to:

- edit an Instagram bio or change the profile picture from Kredia,
- add a song to a Reel or Story (or the song you picked isn't on the published Reel),
- add a Story to a Highlight or edit Highlights,
- add a mention or link sticker to a Story.

## Why it happens

Kredia publishes through Instagram's official API, the only way approved by Instagram. That API doesn't offer any of these actions to any outside tool, so no scheduling app can do them without breaking Instagram's rules and risking the client's account.

- **Bio and profile picture:** Kredia shows the Instagram bio read-only on the client's page.
- **Music:** the **Audio** section in the composer is marked **Soon**. Nothing you pick there is attached to the published post. The **Connect via Facebook (audio)** option for Instagram doesn't change this today.
- **Highlights:** the API has no Highlights at all.
- **Stickers:** mention stickers aren't available through the API, and Kredia doesn't add link stickers.

## How to fix

Do these in the Instagram app, after the post is live:

1. **Music:** open the published Reel in Instagram and add the sound there, or post Reels that need licensed music directly from Instagram.
2. **Highlights:** open the Story in Instagram and tap **Highlight**.
3. **Bio and profile picture:** edit them in Instagram under **Edit profile**.
4. **Stickers:** add them in Instagram when posting that Story.

What Kredia can do instead:

- Edit the **Facebook** Page bio and profile picture from the client's page.
